A truly one-of-a-kind niche font, the Human Alphabet is the original, and still the only, figurative alphabet made by using only a single person to create every individual letter, number, punctuation mark or special glyph. All previous human alphabets have used a minimum of two people to create at least some of the characters.

 

Equally groundbreaking is that no other photographic figurative or human alphabet has ever been made into a usable computer font before. When we say “unique” we truly mean it!

 

This piece of typographical art was created from the images of advertising and landscape photographer Julian Deghy. This mammoth undertaking in creating almost 60 character images, was eventually achieved by using a mixture of pulleys, harnesses, weights and pain killers. Certain positions have been aided by Photoshop!
